The Head Coach is here.

Edward Blackburn has become the first Head Coach of the Oakland County Spartans.

Mr. Blackburn has over 25 years of coaching experience from all levels of coaching. His last appointment was with the Michigan Vipers G.L.F.L (Great Lakes Football League), as a defensive coordinator that led the Vipers to an impressive 10 - 0 regular season record. First ever for a Minor League team in the Michigan area. Before working with the Vipers. Coach Blackburn was a coordinator with the Waterford Warthogs of the MLFA (Minor League Football Association). After the Warthogs Coach Blackburn was offered a position to be at the helm of the Michigan Reapers a Minor League Professional indoor team owned by Michael Zaks.

Coach Blackburn is a discipinarian and all players who have ever played for the coach states that his knowledge of the game is intriguing. He will be a welcome addition to the Spartans Clubs House. Please join me in welcoming the newest Head Coach to lead the Spartans into battle. Congradulations Coach Blackburn.
